Mr. Benjamin Willie Dixon, affectionately known to family and friends as “BenGino,” was born  on March 3rd, 1990 in Columbia, South Carolina. He was the son of Clinton and Gloria Dixon. He departed this earthly life on Sunday, April 24th, 2022.

Benjamin attended Florence Public Schools.  He enjoyed playing basketball and hanging out with his friends in the West Florence community known as “The Bottom.” He loved his community and sponsored many events.  He was an avid fan of the Boston Celtics and The New England Patriots. At an early age, he was baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. He attended Progressive Church of our Lord Jesus Christ during his childhood. Ben’s passion for writing led him to write two books. He was currently working on his 3rd volume of Finesse 2 Death. Ben loved to study the bible and engage in conversations about scriptures.

He was a loving father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Willie and Mayetta Echols; his paternal grandparents; James and Birdie Mae Dixon.

Benjamin leaves to cherish his fond memories: his devoted parents, Clinton and Gloria Dixon of Florence, South Carolina; two sons, Benjamin Gino Dixon Jr and Ishmael Gino Dixon both of Florence, South Carolina; one daughter, Trinity Rene Dixon of Florence, South Carolina;  two sisters, Tabitha (Venteral) McDowell of Florence, South Carolina and Rachel (Johnny) Brown of Gastonia, North Carolina; two brothers, Clinton (Ania) Dixon and Timothy Dixon both of Florence, South Carolina; three nephews, Davion Dixon, Giuliano Dixon, and Elijah Dixon; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will recieve friends daily from 5 PM -8 PM at 3508 Leigh Lane, Florence. (Tara Village Subdivsion)  Please wear a mask.
