Bobby G. Harrell

Bobby Gene Harrell affectionately known as Gene was born on November 12,1938 in North Carolina to the late Alberta King and reared by the late Bobby Robinson. He entered eternal rest on March 21, 2026.

Gene was affiliated with the Mt Zion United Methodist Church in Florence SC. He was educated in the public schools of North Carolina. Later in life he relocated to Florence, SC where he worked in different capacities, retiring as a bartender at the SC Country Club.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, one sister, Wilhemina Cobbs and brother, June King.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Martha Louise Harrell of Florence SC; two daughters, Elishann H Redden of Florence SC and Gail Jones (Nate) of Philadelphia PA;  he adored a special niece, Nonette Jacobs (Lynwood) of London, New Jersey;  nine nieces and nephews from his late sister Wilhemina Cobbs and host of relatives and friends.

Gene was known for his mode of transportation, his Bicycle, and he was also well known for his famous gardening. He will be greatly missed.
