Ceasar Desmone “Desi” Cade, born January 7, 1974, in Florence, departed this life on Thursday, May 21, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unforgettable memories.

Ceasar attended Florence District One schools and was known by many as a natural-born leader. He answered to no one but himself and truly danced to the beat of his own music. To know Ceasar was to experience his larger-than-life personality. Some knew him as Ceasar, while others knew him as “Desi,” but all who crossed his path knew his genuine heart. He never met a stranger and always did his best to uplift and encourage everyone around him.

Family meant everything to Ceasar. He cherished every opportunity to gather loved ones together, especially around the grill, where he proudly cooked and fed family and friends with joy. No matter where he was or what he was doing, when family called, he came. His love and devotion to those closest to him were unwavering. In his downtime, he enjoyed riding his Harley, watching Marvel movies and sharing laughter and good times with the people he loved most.

Ceasar was preceded in death by his beloved son, Ceasar D. Cade Jr. and 1st cousin James L. Cade.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beautiful daughters, Ms. Shakyra D. Cade, Ms. Khaleesi D. Cade, Ms. Kayleigh Quinones and son, Christian (Destin) Ames; his cherished grandchildren, Elijah and Elyanah. He is also survived by his loving mother, Mary R. Cade; his sisters, Tiffany (Timothy) Davis of Florence and Kimyatta (Tameka) Cade of the home; four devoted aunts: Evelina Reed of Florence, Joan (JD) Heath of Charlotte, Rose (James) Thompson of Charlotte, and Patricia (Wallace) Hyman of Florence, who lovingly embraced the role of a bonus mother and an honorary aunt, Joan Moses. He also leaves behind two nieces, Taijah R. Cade-Jenkins and Tyra A. Davis; one nephew, Jordan T. Davis; first cousins Wanda, Andrea, Sandra, Tarrence, Marqua, and Xerxses; along with the loving Ames family, host of relatives, loved ones, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Ceasar’s presence, laughter, generosity, and love will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
