Coretta A. Lewis

Coretta Alexis Lewis was born on February 14, 1989 to Jacinta A. Lewis and Corey S. Thompson. She passed away from this earthly life on July 4, 2025.

“Ko-Ko” as she was affectionately called was educated in the public schools of Florence School District One. She attended Wilson High School and was a 2007 graduate of Poynor Adult Education Program.

“Ko-Ko” pursued a career as a Culinary Specialist and was employed with Green Leaf of Florence. She enjoyed cooking and was a very loyal and dedicated employee. Among being in culinary services, she also was a certified forklift driver at Honda of Florence.

“Ko-Ko” was a loving, dedicated, generous and supporting mother to the love of her life, her one and only son, Jacoryon Lewis. She enjoyed traveling, basketball, speaking her mind, dressing and spending time with family and friends.

“Ko-Ko" was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Luke Lewis and Peggy Lewis; paternal grandmother, Veronica Charles and her favorite aunt, Alicia Lewis Isaiah.

“Ko-Ko” leaves to cherish her precious memories her beloved son, Jacoryon Lewis of the home; mother of whom she adored, Jacinta A. Lewis; father, Corey S. Thompson; her remarkable and significant grandmother who she truly loved, Suzette Thompson; siblings, Rodriguez Lewis, Zachary McCollough, Shacora Daniels, Corey Thompson, Jr., Morgan Thompson, Aria Thompson, Coris Thompson, and Corletta Thompson; aunts, Debra (Kelton) Walters of Columbia, SC, Chiquita Lewis on Duncan , SC, Adrain Charles, Whitney Charles and Courtney Charles all of Florence, SC; uncles, Derrick Lewis, Anthony Lewis of Durham, NC, Luke Lewis, Jr. of Florence, SC, Mike Thompson of Florence, SC, Demetrius Thompson of Minneapolis, MN; favorite cousin, Kendra Crawford and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends daily from 4 PM - 8 PM at 320 Troxel Blvd. Apt 307
