Mr. Daniel Glenn Jackson, known to family and friends as “Dan” and/or “Danny Boy” was born on June 20, 1964 to Roena Jackson & the late Deacon Franklin Jackson in Florence, South Carolina, On February 14, 2021 “Dan” was called to his Heavenly resting place.
Dan attended Florence County Schools. He was employed with Murray’s Concrete Company and later employed with Palmetto Concrete for many years as a Concrete Finisher.
Dan accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at an early age and joined Central Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Reverend Edward Thomas.
In addition, to his father, Franklin L. Jackson; he was preceded in death by his brother, Franklin “Red” Jackson; and a sister, Leatha “Lisa” Jackson.
Daniel leaves to cherish his precious memories: his mother, Roena “Martha” Jackson; four sons, Victor (Pearl) Twiggs, Mario (Robin) Stembridge, and Carlos Stembridge all of Florence, South Carolina and Ke’Aon Morris of Charleston, South Carolina; two sisters, Patricia (Ricky) Kelly of Charlotte, North Carolina and Betty Jackson of Florence, South Carolina; seventeen grandchildren; five aunts, Luepen Wallace of Baltimore, Maryland, Carrie Greg Hart and Betty Williams both of Darlington, South Carolina; Amel Ervin and Annie Sue Jackson of North Carolina; six special nieces, Taddaneka, Yolanda, Bela’vna, Victoria, Andrea, and Devonda: three special nephews, Rickey, Franklin, Demetrius; nine special grandnephews and grandnieces; two special friends, Ronnie Eagleton and Marvin; a friend and brother-in-law, Willie Pringle; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends. Mr. Daniel Glenn “Dan” and/or “Danny Boy” Jackson enjoyed making you laugh and smile by any means necessary. He will be forever loved and missed by his many family and friends.
