Mr. David Lee Hines was born on March 14, 1967, in Florence, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Willie Hines, Sr. and the late Roceda J. Hines. He departed this life on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the age of 59.

David, as he was affectionately called by all who knew and loved him, attended Wilson High School in Florence, South Carolina. He was employed at Hardee’s Restaurant, J & L Floor Covering and Thompson Moving & Storage. David performed well in every task placed before him and was often called upon by many. He consistently ensured that his work was professional.

David was a member of Glorious Apostolic Church under the leadership of Pastor Roceda Hines and later Bishop Joseph Hines. He was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit in Jesus' name.

David was a loving father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and a great friend to all who knew him.

David leaves to cherish his memories six sons, Tamias (Deneda) Hines, Demetrius Johnson, Quintin Williams, David Hines Jr. and Xavier Hines; two daughters, Sharese Williams, Vamiya (Stuart) Gore; seven grandchildren, D'Angelo, D'Avion, Kenny, Jamarion, Davianna, Londyn, and Paris; one great-granddaughter, Aubrey; five brothers, Willie Hines Jr., Bishop Joseph (Linda) Hines, Robert E. Hines, Elijah (Tracy) Dupree, and Jordan (Chante) Hines; six sisters, Francena (Isaiah) Brockington, Aurelia Singletary, Rose Marie Thomas, Mary Leatha Brockington, Queen (Abraham) Wallace, and Lottie (Jimmy) Walker; one aunt, Ida Joe; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
