Mother Gerline Corbett, of Florence, South Carolina passed away peacefully on Sunday September 12, 2021 in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Gerline was born on September 10, 1932 in Darlington, South Carolina to Challine and Willie “Bubba” Milling.

Gerline was educated by Darlington County Schools. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in private care for many years in Mount Vernon, New York.

Affectionally known as “Boogie” but now known as “Mother Corbett”, she was a faithful member of Jesus Only Apostolic Church in Yonkers, New York, where she was Baptized in Jesus Name and received the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Later on in life, she served as office manager at Prestige Home Support. She was a devoted member of Rivers of Life Church in Florence, South Carolina. She had a passion for cooking and enjoyed traveling. As a caring mother, grandmother, and friend she had a sincere love for her family and friends. Most importantly, her love for our Lord and Savior shined as she shared her faith with others

She was preceded in death by her parents, Challine and Willie “Bubba” Milling; a daughter, Andrena Robinson; two sisters, Ethel “Bunch” Sanders and Waldeen “Honey” Gerald; a brother, Harry Milling; and three brothers-in-Law.

She is survived by three daughters, Berlyn (Leon) McPhail, Darlean (Lucius) Redden, and Theresa (Victor) Corbett-Hannah; four siblings, Cleveland (Irene) Milling, Ralpheen Gregg, Carrie Lunn, and Arthur Milling; eleven grandchildren, Delano (Almeda) Graham, Vanessa Durant, Deleon (Regena) McPhail, Sherry (Andre) Richardson, Tomeka (Tyrone) Blackwell, Shaquanna (Marcus) Corbett-Wolfe, Laquilla Corbett, Latesha Banks, Nigel Corbett, Joel Hannah, and Gabrielle Hannah; twelve great grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, three dear friends, Fannie Sampson, Apostle Brenda Deas, and Major Deas; and other relatives.
