Henry Roosevelt Cooper was born to the late John Wesley Cooper and Annie Calhoun Cooper on May 8, 1953 in Kingstree, SC. He was the youngest of eight children. Monster, as he was affectionally called, as a young adult lived in Lake City, SC and Florence, SC. As a teenager he moved with his sister, Gardenia, to Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Monster worked in machinery in a plant called Productor for many years in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He received his diploma from Wilson High School Class of 1972; although he had a disability that was considered Special Needs, but he did not let that halt his life.
Henry expressed visiting and fellowshipping with Monumental Baptist Church on many Sundays.
Henry was preceded in death by Matthew Cooper, Edward Cooper, John Cooper, Betty Cooper Green and Mary Lee Brayboy.
Left to cherish his precious memories include two sisters, Gardenia Wells of the home and his sister, Clara Madison of Baltimore, Maryland; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
Please keep the family of Henry Roosevelt Cooper in your thoughts and prayers.
