James E. Mouzon

Mr. James Earl Mouzon, son of the late Joe Mouzon and the late Eva Mae Mouzon was born on October 11, 1963. He departed this earthly life on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at his home.

Earl attended the public schools of Florence County.

Earl was a skillful man with his hands. His father taught him everything he know about working on cars. He was employed with CH Angus-Palm and Raines Company for many several years.

Earl had a genuine heart full of gold and would willingly do anything to help as many as he could. He enjoyed listening to his music, cooking on the grill and being with family and friends. He was well known by many and loved by all.

Earl shared a beautiful life with Pearl Johnson for over 25 years.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Mouzon and Eva Mae Mouzon; one brother, Jerome Mouzon; and his stepson, Desmond Keith.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his companion, Pearl Johnson; eight stepchildren, Levern (Tiffany) Johnson, Jr., Tamara Johnson, Derrick (Jerquita) Johnson, Tanisha Johnson, Paula McWhite, Pamela McWhite, Natasha McWhite and Adrain Keith; twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; three brothers, Bobby (Felecia) Mouzon, Joseph (Janice) Mouzon and Elijah Mouzon; and a host of aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relative and friends. 

Family will receive friends 5 PM - 8 PM daily at 418 S. Fourth Street, Florence,
