Janie M. Flemming

Mrs. Janie "Sister" Flemming was born November 29, 1951 in Florence, SC to Wilbert and Gracie King Moses. She was called to eternal rest on Saturday, August 22, 2026.

Janie attended the public school of Florence County, where she graduated from Wilson High School Class of 1970.

After graduating from high school, Janie became employed with Leggs and held employment until the closing of the company in 1998.

Janie was a devoted wife to William Flemming for 40+ years and this union was blessed with one son, Torrey Dalmane Moses.

In addition to her parents, Janie was preceded in death by one sister, Edith Ellerbe; six brothers, Ulysses Moses, Cecil Moses, James Moses, Willie Moses, Melvin Moses and Chester Moses; one great grandson, Cameron Coleman.

Left to Cherish her memories are her husband, William Flemming; one son Torrey Dalmane Moses; three grandchildren, Torren D. Moses, Montasia Moses and Nate Williams; one great grandson, Jaraiah Gee; sister, Eula Johnson; brother, Curtis (Miriam) Moses; sister in-laws, Jennie Flemming, Carrie Flemming, Oda (James) Epps, Elsie (Leroy) Flemming, Betty Moses and Gladys Moses; one step-daughter, Nicole (Larry) Williams; one step-son, William Gregory Flemming and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
