Jean Andrew

Jean Geraldine (Curry) Gilbert – Andrew, 91, of Blenheim, South Carolina, formerly of East McKeesport, died on Friday, February 3, 2023 quietly in her sleep at the age of 91 ½.

She was born June 2, 1931 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Frank and Velma (Fink) Curry.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William E. Andrew, twin sister Joan Foster; sister and brother Eleanor Szalankiewicz and Stanley Curry; daughters Nadine Bettell, Kristine Gilbert, and Marla Turkovic.

She was a member East McKeesport United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children Linda Heman-Ackah of Green Valley, Arizona, Gloria Shaffer of Brookville, Billie Jean Burgess of Blenheim, South Carolina, Daryl Gray of West Mifflin, and Bill Andrew of Port Vue; 26 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and one great- great grandchild; also numerous nieces and nephews.
