Joshua McPherson

Mr. Joshua Kendell McPherson , an Angel granted by God, affectionally known as “Big Bubba,” was born March 21, 2005 to Alicia McPherson and Marcus Kelly in Florence, South Carolina. On Sunday, May 29, 2022, Joshua transitioned to his resting place at Conway Regional Medical Center, in Conway, South Carolina. Although our time was cut short, our hearts will forever be filled with joy and honor because we were able to be graced with his presence for seventeen (17) years.

Joshua attended Wilson High School and was ecstatic for the Fall 2023 football year. Joshua, a middle linebacker was well known within the football community.

Joshua was preceded in death by his maternal great grandmother, Ruby McCall; paternal great grandmother, Flossie Kelly; and a special uncle, Corey Groover.

Joshua leaves to cherish precious memories: a daughter, Jayda London McPherson; Jayda’s mother, Niyah Wilson; his parents, Alicia McPherson (Alonzo Jeffery) and Marcus Kelly; two brothers, Jalen McPherson and Johnathan McPherson; three sisters, Madison McPherson, Ariel Kelly and Isabella Hinestroza; maternal great grandparents, Elder Eddie (Bobbie) Gregg, Sr.; paternal great grandparents, Alberta (Earnest) Gordon and Barbara W. Lee; maternal grandparents, Cynthia Gregg and David McPherson; paternal grandparents, Theresa Kelly and Marcus R. Williamson; maternal great uncle, Eddie Gregg, Jr.; maternal aunts, Ava McPherson and April (Wendell) King, who loved him dearly; paternal aunts, Marqutte Sellers and Tatiana Speight; paternal uncles, David Lee, Lawanda Sellers and Ty Stuckey; special cousins/sisters, Alaysia McPherson and Lauren McPherson; six best friends, Travion Ross, Curtis Henderson, Cavari  Butler, Tae Johnson, Marion Robinson, and Daissem Hargrove; a special uncle, Kelly Bostick;  a special friend, Madison; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
