Kendall McLeod Gordon was born on January 16, 1971, to his caring mother, Lottie Lee McLeod, in Jersey City, New Jersey. He was lovingly raised by his parents, Robert (deceased) and Buleah Gordon in Florence, S.C. After battling a long illness, Kendall entered eternal rest at Victory Veteran’s Home in Walterboro, South Carolina on February 20, 2026.

Kendall attended Florence Public Schools and was proud to graduate from Wilson Senior High School as a member of the class of 1989. He furthered his education by attending Denmark Tech in Denmark, South Carolina, as well as Florence-Darlington Tech.

Kendall began his spiritual journey as a child at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Timmonsville, South Carolina. Though his illness later kept him homebound, he continued nurturing his faith by watching and listening to T. D. Jakes’ sermons. An avid reader of the Bible and spiritual literature, Kendall remained anchored in Christ, as reflected in his heartfelt words: “God gave me peace in the middle of my storm.”

Kendall served his country with distinction during his four years of duty in the United States Army, gaining valuable experiences around the world.

After his military service, he worked for several companies, including Budweiser, Ford Motor Company, and ESAB.

Kendall enjoyed life and was a dedicated fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He was also a devoted connoisseur of cigars from around the world and had a keen interest in foreign cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Additionally, Kendall was a proud member of the Prince Hall Freemasons.

Kendall was preceded in death by his father, Robert Cliff Gordon, and brother, Howard Elliot Gordon.

He leaves behind cherished memories with his mothers, Buleah M. Gordon of Stockbridge, Georgia, and Lottie L. McLeod of Jersey City, New Jersey. Kendall is survived by his sisters: Gloria Gordon Parks (Steve) of Stockbridge, GA, Rosalyn Gordon of Stockbridge, GA, Jewel Neal (Joseph) of Spotswood, NJ, and Trina Henton of Jersey City, NJ; brothers: Robert L.
