Keyshawn Marquis Cooper affectionately known to his family and friends as “Coop” was born on June 12, 1996 to Mark Cooper, and the late Janice Simon.

On May 4, 2026, God rewarded a true PRINCE his wings.

“Coop” attended the public schools of Darlington County and Florence County.

“Coop” was preceded in death by his mother Janice Simon; grandmother, Roberta Simon; great grandmother, Rosa Simon who we know was overwhelmed and overjoyed to see him and welcome him. So as a family we know he is safe and happily smiling beyond the skies.

He leaves to cherish his memories a daughter, London Grace Wilson; a son, Kayson Josiah Cooper; two brothers: Dashante Depugh and Montaque Gregg; five sisters: Keyquana Simon, Nicole Gibbs, Tiarra Gibbs, Bria (Samica) Robinson and Bernice Simon; two mothering aunts: Jessie Marie Simon and Marilyn (Wendell) Gregg, and an uncle, Shanta Simon all of Florence, SC; an auntie, Clara Wilson; father, Mark Cooper; godmother, Timesha (Kenny) Muldrow; grandmother, Earline Cooper of Darlington, SC; his best friend, Tyra; his brothers from another mother: Josh, Mono, Mike Mike, Kenji, Jayshawn, Mook, TC, and Trey Trey; along with a host of other brothers, aunts, uncles and other family members and friends that loved him dearly and that he loved back

.Family will receive friends at 3105 Black Bird Dr., Effingham from 2 PM - 8 PM.
