Mr. Khalil Maximillion Ross was born June 29, 2007. He was the son of Beverly Thomas Charles and Herbert Lee Ross, Jr. He departed this life on Sunday, January 16, 2022.
Khalil received his education in Florence Public School System. He was a student at Wilson High School in Florence, South Carolina.
Khalil had a passion for basketball, he Loved the game. He was a kind and loving person, that made an impression on everyone he met. He had a sweet, charming spirit that captured the hearts of others.
He attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Eugene Thomas, and he often visited Mount Olive Holiness Church.
But God had other plans for his life.
Khalil was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Gibson; an uncle, Terrance Thomas; and two maternal grandfathers, Melvin Thomas and Frazile Johnson.
Those left to cherish his precious memories are his mother, Beverly (Harry, II) Charles of the home; his father, Herbert Lee Ross, Jr. of Darlington, South Carolinas; one sister, MyAsia S. Brown of Boston, Massachusetts; three brothers, Andre’ L. Thomas of Florence, South Carolinas, Qaishaun Ross of Georgia, and Anthony McGill of Charlotte, North Carolina; a maternal grandmother, Elease P. Johnson of Florence, South Carolina; a paternal grandmother, Diane Ross of Darlington, South Carolina; two special aunts, Matesha Egleton and Twannia Thomas; a special uncle, Kente’ Egleton; one great uncle, Robert (Ella) Ross; a special niece, Maliyah Reyes; four nephews, Kamari Thomas, Kameron Thomas, Zion Thomas, and Zane Thomas; and a host of other relatives, and friends.
