MRS. LETHA MAE PARKER was born to the parents of late Julius and Claudia Burch-Davis. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mill Branch African Methodist Episcopal Church, where she continued fellowship throughout her life.
Letha attended and graduated from Gibbs High School. She later became a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) for over 30 years and was also a private sitter.
On June 14th, 1955 she married Lee Fonia Parker. Together they had four children, LeFrank, Bazella, Peter, and Tiffany. Lee and Letha moved to New York for work, and Letha continued her work as a CNA. Many years later they settled down back in Florence, where they spent the remaining years of their life together.
Letha had many hobbies that kept her days busy. She enjoyed crafting and baking, and was well known for her famous pound cake. Letha was a member of the East Florence Senior Citizens Community Center, Mill Branch Community Senior Center, Pamplico Community Senior Center, St. Beulah Community Senior Center and a former member of the Sunshine Savings Club.

Letha Mae Parker was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Claudia Burch Davis; four brothers, James Mack Davis, Lonnie Davis, Lendburg Davis and Melvin Davis; three sisters, Rosa Williams, Mae Pearl Edward and Linzie Lee Davis; and a grandson, Leteric Parker.
