Lloyd A. Ashley

Mr. Lloyd Ashbury “Robbie” Ashley was born February 15, 1968, to the late Mrs. Gertrude Elizabeth Gregg Ashley-Taylor and the late Mr. Leroy Ashley, Sr.

Lloyd was born and reared in Florence, South Carolina and attended Wilson High School as a part of the Class of ’86. To his family, he was known as “Robbie,” and to his East Florence family as “LA” .

Lloyd was a career cook and known as the “Grill Master” around Florence and for his family.  He was last employed at Stefano’s Italian Restaurant of Florence, South Carolina.

Lloyd leaves to cherish his memories: three sisters, Charon Taylor-Person (Najee′) of Florence, South Carolina, Vicky Ashley of Greenville, South Carolina and Wanda Ashley of Columbia, South Carolina; three brothers, Arthur Kevin Taylor (Maxine) of Bridgeport, Connecticut, Reverend Louis (Stephanie) Ashley of Florence, South Carolina, and Leroy (Lonett) Ashley, Jr. of Florence, South Carolina; one special niece, Nicole Taylor; two special nephews,  Joey  (Krystle) Taylor and Timmy Taylor (Stephine); six great nieces; three great nephews; one great-grand niece; host of family of the Grainger-Gregg-Burns Family Reunion; a friend for life, Pamela May (Pam Mae) and his East Florence family, whom he truly loved.
