Moses Richardson, Jr. winged his way to the Abha’ Kingdom on May 18, 2021 at his home at Indigo Apartments, 820 South Coit Street, Florence, South Carolina.

Moses was the son of the late Moses Richardson, Sr. and Magnolia Williams Richardson. Moses was born in Florence County on May 30, 1947.

Moses was educated and worked in Florence, South Carolina at several entities in various positions, but most remembered as an entrepreneur. He sold vegetables from his farm and was a very productive Agriculturists.

Moses was joined in marriage to the late Ursula Hoeller Richardson on May 22, 1980.

Moses and Ursula served the Faith in numerous positions: on Local Spiritual Assemblies, on Baha’i School Committees, and as coordinators for Traveling Teaching and Homefront Pioneering. They also served overseas as short-term pioneers to Namibia and also traveled to Slovenia, Italy, Russia, Cypress, Switzerland, Mexico, and Saint Lucia.

Those left to cherish his memories include: three daughters, Wanda (James) Lloyd, Karen (Gregory) Bailey, and Millette Talbot; one step daughter, Elisabeth Nosarios; two grandchildren, Taylor Bailey and Todd Bailey; three sisters, Margie (Charles) Smith, Mamie (Talmadge) McDaniel, and Loretta (Wendell) Price; one brother-in-law, Karl-Georg (Heide) Hoeller; two nieces, Carola (Niko) Jochens and Leah Price; three nephews, Michael Hoeller, Chuck Smith, and Bradford Price; one grand-niece, Smilla Carlotta Jochens; two aunts, Martha Cato and Gracie Richardson; a special cousin, who was like a sister, Judy (Marshall) Alexander; three special friends, Carolyn Brooks, Mary Bethea, and Robert (Martha) Hugee; and a host of other family members and friends.
