Ms. Patricia Gayle Hoover, the daughter of the late Doss Davis and the late Margaret Williams Davis was born July 26, 1949. She transitioned to her eternal resting place on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
Born in Fernandina Beach, FL, she then spent several years in Davie, FL as a child, then spent most of her youth and early adulthood in West Ashley, SC. She entered the cleaning profession and soon her extensive commercial and residential experience was second to none. Amazingly, she sacrificed by working long hours while being a single mother to make up for not receiving child support.
Pat will be remembered as a family-oriented person whose smile could light up a room. She helped family and friends through difficult times. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for family and others she cared for. Her legacy of love lives on in a special place in our hearts. She loved the Lord and attended several houses of worship throughout her life. She also loved Christian, country and classic rock music and having a good time celebrating with others, as well as shopping for collectibles.
Pat was preceded by the untimely loss of her three dear sons, Scot, James and M. Jason Cash, along with her great granddaughter Mariahna Cash which happened within just six years of her passing. Now she fortunately gets to be reunited with them in Heaven.
She is survived by her brother Morris Davis, half-brother John Adams, half-sister Virginia Carter, life partner Todd Miller, cousin Byron Johnston, and widowed daughters in-law, Tracy Cash and Brenda Cash. Also, her granddaughters include Kelsey and Jaydon Cash, grandsons Austin, Brandon, Preston Jr, Justin, and Michael Cash. Her precious great grandsons are Xavier Cash, Wesley Fuller, Kingston Cash, Josiah Hatfield, Jeremiah Hatfield, Jason Herrera-Cash, and Jonah Zuniga Cash; and her great granddaughters are Kyriella Fuller, Mylah Cash, Naomi Cash, and Amaya Cash. She also leaves a wide circle of other relatives and cherished friends.
Please keep the family of Patricia Gayle Hoover in your thoughts and prayers.
