Paul A. Daniels

d. June 17, 2022

God in his infinite wisdom is keenly aware when one of his children has grown tired of this tedious earthly journey. For we know that if our earthly house of his tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God. There is an open gate through which each must go alone. “There is a light we cannot see; our father claims his own.” That time came for our loved one, Mr. Paul Anthony Daniels on Friday, June 17, 2022 in Lake City, South Carolina.

Mr. Paul Anthony Daniels, affectionally known as “Tony,” was born September 5, 1962 in Èvry, France, the son of Lillie Katherine Daniels and the late Paul Daniels.

Tony received his early education in the public schools of Florence, South Carolina and graduated from Wilson High School, Class of 1982. Tony was employed  with Cain’s Bar-B-Que of Florence, South Carolina, as a Prep Cook for many years, Wilbert Vault Company, and as a Custodian with Carolina Hospital System of Florence, South Carolina, where he retired after several years. He later gained employed with the County Club of Florence.

After his retirement, Tony relocated to Lake City, South Carolina. He was a volunteer of Lake City Housing Authority Residents Association Board for Lake City, Johnsonville, and Olanta, South Carolina until his untimely passing.

Their family life was centered on religious faith, hard work, and a love for learning. Tony was a dedicated member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Lake City, South Carolina, where he was a member of  the United Methodist Men Organization.

Tony was a loving, kindhearted, and compassionate Son, Father, Brother, and Uncle. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, building and collecting model cars and watching western shows. To know Tony was to love him. His affectionate smile could light up a room.

In addition to his father Paul Daniels, Tony was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Geneva McCutcheon; paternal grandparents, Bruce and Sylvester Daniels.

Loved ones left to cherish his memories are his loving mother, Lillie Katherine Daniels of Lake City, South Carolina; one daughter, Monique (Kenneth) Scott of Duncan, South Carolina; one sister, Teicher (Werner) Daniels-Richardson of Florence, South Carolina; two brothers, Terence (Crystal) Daniels of Florence, South Carolina and Eric Daniels of Lake City, South Carolina; a special cousin, Carmen (Eddie) “Penny” Gregg; four nieces, Samantha Toney, Jacquelynn Richardson, Te’Raiya Daniels, and Te’Rylla Daniels; one great niece, Lawyer Katherine Toney; and a host of other relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.

Please keep the family of Paul Daniels in your thoughts and prayers.
