Robert Brown

Mr. Robert Brown was born February 19, 1944 in Lane, South Carolina to the late Willie Brown, Sr. and the late Leah Lawson Brown. He departed this earthly life on Sunday, May 1, 2022. 

Robert was a graduate of Wilson High School of Florence, South Carolina. 

Robert retired from Merita Bakery after being faithfully employed for 31 years. 

Robert was united in holy matrimony to Joan Echols Brown where they continued to live as one for 41 years. 

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Brown, Sr. and Leah Lawson Brown; a brother, Willie Brown, Jr.; and a daughter, Joranda Green.

Robert leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife, Joan Echols Brown; seven sons, Robert Brown, Jr., Terry Brown, Clinton Brown, Anthony Green, Douglas Green, Marcus Brown, Kevin Taylor; two daughters, Lear Brown and Carla Nesmith; four sisters; Lura Banks, Bessie Brown (Charlie) Dunham, Wilhelmena Brown Sellers, and Mary Brown Keene (William Davis); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
