Sylvia A. Tucker

Mrs. Sylvia L. Anderson-Tucker, daughter of the late Mr. Sam Anderson and Mrs. Mary L. Anderson was born May 10, 1954 in Florence, South Carolina. She was called home to rest on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the age of 68 years young. 

“Linda” as she was affectionately called was educated in the Florence County Public Schools. She continued her education at Florence Darlington Technical College. 

Linda devoted her years to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was employed with Carolina Hospital for over 30 years before her retirement in 2014. At an early age, she joined Trinity Baptist Church. 

Linda was united in holy matrimony to Willie H. Tucker.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Sam Anderson and Mrs. Mary L. Anderson; and a brother, Daniel Ray Anderson.

Those left to cherish her memories include: a loving husband, Willie H. Tucker; two daughters, Linda Anderson Green and Victoria Myers both of Florence, South Carolina; three sons, Heyward Myers, Jr. of Florence, South Carolina, Nero S. (Crystal) Myers of Lithonia, Georgia and Terrence T. (Veronica) Myers of Florence, South Carolina; two brothers, Sam Jr. (Diane) Anderson and Kenneth L. Anderson both of Florence, South Carolina; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
